With over 25 years of hands-on experience in Welding Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Param has walked the arc-lit paths of fabrication yards, refineries, offshore rigs, and complex pressure vessel installations. His journey isn’t just measured in years, but in depth—of learning, mentoring, and evolving with technology and real-world demands.
He began his career as a UT Technician, mastering the core principles of ultrasonic testing. His curiosity and commitment led him to advance into Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD), and today, he’s at the frontier of innovation with Full Matrix Capture and Total Focusing Method (FMC-TFM).
Throughout his career, Param has taken on diverse projects, customer specifications, and complex weld configurations, working with a wide range of ferrous metals and alloy steels. His ability to adapt and solve inspection challenges across industries sets him apart.
